- My Dear Departed Father taught me how to read a newspaper, (The Manchester Union Leader), at the age of three, and I continued to read for forty-five years, when I began to write. Acts of War: JESUS/ALEXANDER & JFK are the result of his wisdom. [He was the production manager at a heavy hydrolics machinery factory.
